Company Policies & Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Weusi Coast & Camera. Our goal is to provide exceptional visual storytelling, outstanding customer service, and a smooth production experience from consultation through final delivery.
The following policies help ensure clear expectations and successful collaborations for every client.
1. Project Consultation
Every project begins with a consultation to discuss:
- Project goals
- Target audience
- Budget
- Production schedule
- Deliverables
- Distribution platforms
- Creative direction
Quotes and proposals are based on the information provided during the consultation. Any significant changes after approval may require a revised estimate.
2. Booking & Deposits
Projects are not considered booked until:
- A proposal or contract has been approved.
- The required deposit has been received.
Unless otherwise stated:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve production dates.
- Remaining balances are due according to the project agreement.
Production dates cannot be guaranteed without a completed booking.
3. Payment Policy
Accepted payment methods include:
- Cash/Money Orders
- ACH Transfers
- Business Checks
- Approved Digital Payment Services
Invoices are due according to the payment schedule outlined in the project agreement.
Late payments may result in:
- Delayed editing
- Delayed delivery
- Suspension of work
- Late payment fees where permitted by law
Final video files will not be released until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Client Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable because production dates are reserved exclusively for each client.
If a client cancels:
- Deposits are forfeited.
- Completed work and expenses incurred remain billable.
Rescheduling
One reschedule may be permitted depending on crew availability.
Additional rescheduling requests may incur administrative or scheduling fees.
Weather-related delays for outdoor productions will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Creative Process
Our team provides professional recommendations regarding:
- Storytelling
- Camera angles
- Lighting
- Audio
- Editing
- Graphics
- Music
- Color grading
Creative decisions are based on industry best practices and our professional experience.
While client feedback is encouraged, Weusi Coast & Camera retains creative discretion necessary to produce a high-quality final product.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate project information.
- Obtain necessary permissions for filming locations.
- Secure talent releases when required.
- Obtain permits when applicable.
- Ensure participants arrive on time.
- Designate one primary point of contact.
Production delays caused by client readiness may reduce available filming time.
7. Production Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather
- Traffic
- Equipment restrictions imposed by venues
- Government restrictions
- Venue limitations
- Acts of God
- Client scheduling changes
- Third-party vendor delays
Whenever possible, reasonable accommodations will be made.
8. Editing Policy
Editing includes:
- Color correction
- Audio enhancement
- Music licensing (when applicable)
- Graphics agreed upon in the proposal
- Standard revisions
Projects enter the editing queue after filming has been completed.
Estimated delivery timelines vary depending on project complexity.
9. Revision Policy
Unless otherwise stated, projects include two rounds of revisions.
Revisions include reasonable changes such as:
- Text updates
- Minor timing adjustments
- Graphic modifications
- Music selection changes (where licensing permits)
The following are considered additional billable work:
- Major restructuring
- New creative direction
- Additional editing after approval
- Replacement footage
- Additional filming
- New animation requests
10. Client Approval
Upon delivery, clients are responsible for reviewing all materials carefully.
Approval confirms acceptance of:
- Video content
- Graphics
- Text
- Audio
- Branding
- Spelling
- Timing
After final approval, additional changes may require additional editing fees.
11. File Delivery
Final deliverables are provided electronically unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery formats may include:
- MP4
- MOV
- Social media formats
- Vertical video
- Horizontal video
- Broadcast formats (upon request)
Clients are encouraged to download and archive their files promptly.
12. Project Storage
Completed projects are generally archived for up to 4months.
While we make reasonable efforts to maintain backups, long-term storage is not guaranteed.
Clients should maintain their own backups of all delivered files.
13. Copyright & Ownership
Unless otherwise specified in writing:
- Weusi Coast & Camera retains copyright ownership of all raw footage, project files, and production assets.
- Clients receive a license to use the final delivered videos for the agreed-upon purposes after full payment.
Raw footage is not included unless specifically purchased or licensed.
14. Portfolio Rights
Unless prohibited by a written confidentiality agreement, Weusi Coast & Camera reserves the right to use completed work for:
- Portfolio
- Website
- Social media
- Advertising
- Marketing
- Awards
- Demonstrations of services
Clients requesting complete confidentiality should discuss this before production begins.
15. Music & Licensing
Music used in productions is licensed according to the project requirements.
Clients may not replace licensed music with unlicensed content that violates copyright laws.
16. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort is made to safeguard production assets and project materials, Weusi Coast & Camera shall not be liable for:
- Equipment failures beyond reasonable control
- Venue restrictions
- Power outages
- Internet interruptions
- Acts of nature
- Delays caused by third parties
Liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the affected services.
17. Confidentiality
Client information, business strategies, and unpublished materials will be treated confidentially.
Confidential information will not be disclosed except as required by law or with the client’s written permission.
18. Client Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and professional working environment.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior toward staff, contractors, or partners may result in immediate termination of services.
19. Privacy
Client information is used solely for:
- Communication
- Project management
- Billing
- Service delivery
We do not sell client information to third parties.
20. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
- Labor disputes
- Pandemics
- Severe weather
- Utility failures
Project schedules may be adjusted accordingly.
21. Governing Law
These policies shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within Florida unless otherwise agreed in writing.
22. Policy Updates
Weusi Coast & Camera reserves the right to update these policies at any time.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
